Sigh. My Daytona Beach vacation is quickly approaching its end. The BIG Y'EYEMAH enjoys that because, to her, it represents failure, loss, and suffering (plus morbid obesity) -- and she can't get enough of any of that. God, I hate ever having known her. Nothing but misery, loser-dom, and love of failure.

We know: Identity politics is all that matters as if in some genocidal Stalinist show trial. Never mind that you're anti-life in every way conceivable.

OK, that's all for now. My next entry might not be until I have returned to fucking Washington, D.C., a city of WOKE death in such monstrous infinity … (Yes, I adapted that famous line, but it applies, and always will.)

OK, I'm not going to ruin my last vacation day tomorrow by trying to post a bunch of stupid entries of gibberish for nobody to reach. Fuck you and your Covid horseshit-teen jokester panic porn. No, really. However, I AM telling EVERYONE I meet how fucked up monstrous is D.C., mostly because of the WOKE Millennial Marxists who dwell therein, plus the Baby Boomer dick-bags who refuse to go away …

And, just for old times' sake, since sometimes it's nice to recall what you once loved …

Hi! I linked to your blog on Dack Rambo and just read your latest post with photos of Daytona Beach. I lived in Daytona Beach when I was 18 years old for about 5 years. I was closeted (still am to some degree) and remember clamming up when my best friend with "bedroom eyes" at the time told me that he was gay just before I was to return to California. I said "nah, no you're not" and shrugged it off in a silly little laugh. My biggest regret is not having the same courage and decency as a friend to confide in him that I was gay too.

Your pictures, especially the ones around the pier, bring back all of those memories. I used to work at what was then the Daytona Beach Marriott (the one that looks like a pyramid near the band shell)--think it's a Hilton now. Your words on the Dack Rambo post about living in today's times as an older gay man, myself now 52, could have been my own words. Needless to say, I have the same sentiments--like a slap in the face. The good thing is I know myself more now, understand my patterns, and circles I've made and I'm looking forward to future more like a slap on the back (i.e. attaboy!!!). Hope you enjoyed your vacation and that it rejuvenated you to deal with the D.C. antics. I appreciate stumbling across your blog and reading your words.

Thank you,
David

Hi David,

Thank you for such a nice comment with such heartfelt sentiments on life. I truly appreciate it. As it is, I don't get many comments on this blog, although I actually prefer that. But your remarks are very welcome.

Thank you.

Thank you! I appreciate the sentiment.

I'm in a very weird world these days ... Nothing makes sense. But, again, I really appreciate your sentiments and kind words.
