Good God, Oooza the Unloved Crow Creature makes, like, its 28 octillionth showing in Metro Weekly, a publication that gives me the piles, metaphorically speaking. This time, the occasion is the Crow Creature's latest scheme, a gay and lesbian baseball-themed bar in the heart of Adams Morgan and called, appropriately, Bitches, I mean, Pitchers.
Just out of curiosity: Is there some sort of Metro Weekly quota for prominently featuring him? If so, does cash change hands for these repeated showings?? If so, I'm not exactly which way it would flow. Both have associated serious conceptual difficulties.
Not quite five years ago, though, the Crow Creature was showing up as the "Local Hero" in the Blade, a publication he once banished from its previous rookery.
As you can see, though, from the above image, it makes for very good bathroom reading, not to mention that it's very suitable for emotionally prophylactic purposes. That is, it's an excellent spiritual prophylaxis.
I'm sure M. WADE Shittagoogol lovingly framed the pictures from this article.
I'm going to try to post an entry later tonight. In the meantime, I'm stopping at Off the Record at the Hay-Adams and intend to be home by 9:30 p.m. for the MeTV lineup.
