Jukebox Saturday Night for June 20th, 2015: The Summer's Eve Stormy Weather Edition

Given how stormy tonight is, it's only appropriate ...

"Stormy Weather" as performed so hauntingly by the late, great Lena Horne in the 1943 movie Stormy Weather.

We love you, Lena.

*******

"Angel of the South" by Acoustic Alchemy from the group's album The Beautiful Game (2000)

This video features the group performing live in St. Lucia in 2003, at least according to the info on the YouTube page for it.

*******

And lastly, a song I heard the other night for the first time in a while and realized that I quite like it ...

"Somewhere Only We Know" by Keane from the group's Hopes and Fears release (2004)

The video is kind of strange, especially the end with the weird floating creatures that is possibly associated with some other film.

*******

OK, that's all for now. As a sort of update to my previous entry, the bout of storms that passed though were short-lived and things have calmed down, although it could be stormy again later tonight. We are under a flash flood warning until midnight. Tonight, I'm going to go to some combination of my usual set of places and get dinner somewhere (maybe Trio).
