Quill and I had gone to this place called Red Maple for an early dinner. I actually biked back from Quill's parents' house to my place in D.C. on Sunday evening.
I didn't get a chance to post an entry last night.
Mostly, I just wanted to relate how much snow the Boston area has gotten in the past few days versus how little we've gotten in our area.
For comparison, Logan International Airport (KBOS) is up to 78.0 inches for the season or 51.0 inches above the normal-to-date. By comparison, there has been a useless 3.6 inches at Reagan National Airport (KDCA), 6.8 inches at BWI Airport (KBWI), and 10.3 inches at Dulles International Airport (KIAD). All are below normal.
However, this topic gets old after a while. To be clear, I don't even want that much snow as Boston -- it is disruptive, difficult, and ultimately, very messy after a while. However, it is deeply annoying in a Universe-screw-you way to get so screwed out of it in such a systematic and sustained way, especially in a winter that isn't the familiar way above normal temperature-wise but instead has been stormy at times with such near-misses.

I also wanted to post a variety of links -- in particular, Krugman, Chait, and O'Hehir. However, all of that needs to wait until after work and after the gym (tonight being a planned gym night for me).
Oh, and I still have to post the remainder of my New Jersey pictures, assuming I ever get around to it.
OK, that's all for now.
