Jukebox Saturday Night for Feb. 14th, 2015: The St. Valentine's Day Lovey-Dovey Edition

Let's kick off this Saint Valentine's Day edition of my weekly Jukebox Saturday Night entry with something really nice ...

"If You Really Love Me" by Stevie Wonder from his Where I'm Coming From album (1971)

This version of the song was re-released on his 2002 compilation album The Definitive Collection.

*******

"Silly Love Songs" by Paul McCartney and Wings from Wings at the Speed of Sound album (1976)

This was a big hit in the United States -- reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart that year. The song was from Paul McCartney's post-Beatles Wings days. This particular video features a lot of footage from some long-ago concert including behind-the-scenes stuff. It also includes some travel footage -- on highways, in a jet, and passing through an airport.

*******

And for something really Saturday night upbeat and all-around-happy (although one part of the video is a bit odd as in quite risqué) ...

"Be With You" by Atomic Kitten from the group's Feels So Good release (2002)

This song was also released a year later on the group's Ladies Night album (2003).

*******

OK, that's all for now. Heading out to get some dinner at Dupont Italian Kitchen and then perhaps go to No. 9 or maybe Larry's Lounge. I'm not sure if I'll update the blog tomorrow or wait until Monday (which I have off from the Washington's Birthday Federal holiday).
