The Pelican Brief Blog Entry

View from my apartment looking north toward the rise of Meridian Hill Park, Washington, D.C., 12:44PM April 21, 2013.

Today is a delightfully sunny, cool day with temps around 50F under cirrus cloud-fleeced cerulean skies. And this follows a VERY welcome 1+ inch of rainfall on Friday night across the D.C. area. (Actually, KDCA had 1.39" for the whole event while KIAD had 1.20" and KBWI had 0.86".)

I have approximately 20 pictures I took yesterday both here in town and up in Montgomery County while driving around with LP in some of the wealthier and spring greening woodsy sections of Potomac that I intend to post. However, I simply cannot sit in front of a computer on a day like this. I need to get ready and go to the gym and then see if there is anytime left over to take a walk or do something.

I will try to post that blog entry tonight.

Say, look, it's Matthew "M. Wade Tipamillyun" Henry sunning hisself by the ocean on a recent South Florida visit.

Oh, M. Wade Tipamillyun, you look luuuhvly (said in Cockney or Mancunian accent).

How are your tips, guv'nor?

Actually, LP took this picture of a pelican on the fishing pier in Deerfield Beach, Fla., on February 26, 2013.

Pelicans are so cool. They look positively pterodactyl like.

OK that's all for now. Again, I'll try to update this blog tonight.
