Blogger's New Picture Formatting System - A Quick Learn

A picture of the Sun rising throug the U.S. Capitol dome as seen on Capital Weather Gang in this entry.

Blogger gave me a bit of a shock tonight with a new formatting procedure or system, but I think I've figured it out.

At first, I thought the entire ability to format the picture size in "HTML" mode was gone -- and it is. But it turns out that you can do it all now in "COMPOSE" mode simply by clicking on the image and selecting location and various picture sizes (which also allows you to wrap text around).

In addition, "ORIGINAL" picture size removes any ability to control the height / width in HTML mode, and the "CAPTION" option just screws it all up (at least for me). There is more I could write here but it's late and that's enough for now.

However, I am NOT going to post my intended entry but rather just this "test" one to make sure I'm working the new formatting system correctly.

The biggest issue is formatting around smaller pictures left or right-centered.

Oh, yes, at this point, it looks like I can still post YouTube videos.

Ugh. I hate these changes, but I guess I'll get used to it.

OK, my next update probably won't be until at least Thursday as I am not planning on taking the computer home on Wednesday evening.
