Breezin' performed by Renato Falaschi.
Note: It's a nice version of this piece, although at 0:36 an automated-sounding female voice says (I think) "Stereophile1isback Channel," except the "back" and "channel" run together awkwardly. "Stereophile1isback" is the name of the YouTube user who posted the video.
This is my Friday night music interlude. I have another entry on what happened today in Connecticut almost ready to post but that will wait until tomorrow.
I am battling some sort of flu, barely holding if off but definitely feeling under the weather. I've taken some Dayquil and cough medicine, and I'm feeling fatigued, congested, and a bit scratchy-throated. Indeed, I may not even go out this Friday night but just stay home.
My work day was interrupted by an HVAC incident (major malfunction) on the roof of the office building where I work. As a result, I came home and worked from home. I also got a haircut today.
Smooth Groove from the Jazz Masters II release by Paul Hardcastle.
This one has some lovely and varied imagery.
And here is an oldie but a goodie ...
Love Will Keep Us Together by The Captain & Tennille performed on some long-ago TV special.
Note: This is an audio-enhanced one and therefore there is a bit of that Bruce Lee / Kung Fu movie translation delay effect in which the peformers lips are clearly moving out-of-synch to the actual dialogue, or in this case, and even though there is no language difference, to the singing.
That's all for now. I plan one and possibly two updates tomorrow.
