Armistice Day 2010

The 1900 block of New Hampshire Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C., 2:26PM, Nov. 11, 2010.

I really wish we'd get some rain -- and may be we will early next week. Meanwhile, WOODY! and the LWX crew are probably happy that we're in a prolonged above-normal temp, dry spell. It was 23 years ago today that we had the Veterans Day snowstorm here in the D.C. area.

I plan to update this blog either tomorrow evening or on Saturday. I can't do so now. Must sleep. But I wanted to acknowledge the entry.

Two points, though:

First, it was a sort of complicated and ultimately unhappy sort of day with me worrying about a possible NEW tooth problem. I can't actually tell about the tooth. It could be in my head, so to speak, or because I just had a root canal that is messing with my teeth overall.

Second, Barack Obama is what happens when you think you've found Jesus Christ Superstar, but actually ended up with a wimpy, milquetoast, know-it-all corporate lawyer but loser Democrat.

It's been, like, 10 minutes since Obama caved in to the crazy GOP teabaggers. Is everything OK??

This must be a new Armistice, 2010-style.

Just sayin' ...
