Tuesday Night Interim Update

A very big tree growing in the yard of the house at 4930 Tilden St., NW, in the upscale, no, outright wealthy Spring Valley section of Washington, D.C., 5:31PM, June 5, 2010.

Hello, Dear Blog and Gentle Reader ...

I really wanted to post a full entry, and I even started working on one earlier complete with lots of political commentary and an update on my week. However, I was simply too tired and fatigued to write, and then I went to Cobalt where I met Gary and we had a few drinks (there is an open bar on rail vodka between 10 and 11PM on Tuesday nights). Bartender C/H was working there, too, and was friendly.

The house at 4701 Fessenden St., NW, Washington, D.C., 4:44PM, June 5, 2010.

This is the only house in the 4700 block of Fessenden Street since it intersects Western Avenue on the DC-Maryland line and dead-ends.

I'm home now, but I'm just too tired to write and I need my sleep as I have to get up by 715AM tomorrow. My job is working out relatively well SO FAR. Importantly, I got a big assignment that should last me a few weeks.

Finally, I am soooooooooooooooo flat broke but I am SUPPOSED to get paid on Thursday.

Anyway, I'm not just not able to write any larger entry tonight.

The very intriguing house at 4898 MacArthur Blvd., NW, Washington, D.C., 6:37PM, June 5, 2010.

This is in the Palisades section of D.C. Also, the 4500 - 4900 blocks of MacArthur Blvd. stretch for about two miles or so.

That's all for now. I'm just home watching reruns of The Golden Girls on Hallmark Channel. I'll try to update this blog on Thursday or Friday but potentially it might not be until this weekend.

Nothing to comment on except that I don't know where Fessenden Street is. I mean I know now as I googled it. It's close to Amer Univ where I rarely went (although I did take one class there years ago).

So instead of a comment watch this amazing video of an undersea volcano eruption

Fessenden Street is the 3-syllable "F" street in upper Northwest.

I emailed you an update about my own paycheck situation. It turns out my first paycheck is going to be a hard check -- and it has to come from the company's Metro Denver headquarters or 2,000 miles away. I THINK it is supposed to be Fed Ex'ed to me by Friday. I'm not optimistic. I'm borrowing a bit of money as I explained in my email to you.

Oh, yes, I also mentioned an important work / immigration point for you in my email.

As for the YouTube video, I watched it -- and it looked like the BP oil geyser in the Gulf of Mexico.

Hi Regulus!
I'm sorry, I haven't talked to you for a while.
Wow, the Golden girls are all dying off, aren't they ?
But, they will be alive forever in reruns. That is the wonderful thing about TV, I guess.

Krzystof, I enjoyed the undersea volcano video. Imagine, all that energy under our feet.
