Easter Weekend 2010 Photo Recap (and why April 4th is significant to me)

It is Easter Sunday 2010 and I have to hurry to go to Quill's parents' house in Silver Spring for dinner. However, I wanted to at least begin this entry with pictures from yesterday. I will update it later.

A picture of my mom and me at the Watergate Complex, Washington D.C., around 1:30PM, April 3, 2010

More specifically, we were at the top of the steps leading into the Watergate East down to the sunken Watergate Shops promenade and next to that terraced fountain that looks like something out of The Jetsons.

Here is at terraced Watergate fountain.

My mom and Ray* came into D.C. and we went to lunch at Tony and Joe's at a packed Washington Harbour area in the sunny, pleasant spring day (yes, "harbour" is spelled with the British spelling in its name).

*Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of him.

Again, that's all for now. I will update this entry with more pictures tonight and an explanation of the personal significance of April 4th to me.

Update: I was not able to update this blog entry as I planned. Please see subsequent entry.
