Feeling a Bit Better -OR- Give a Dog a Bone

Just a quick update ...

Oliver eating a raw hide bone on the new Persian carpet at Phil and Stephanie's place in Adams Morgan here in Washington, D.C., earlier this evening, Feb. 11, 2009.

############

I am not fully over my flu and that's making me extra irritable. although earlier it was TV Land's Wednesday night "3rd Rock from the Sun" lineup and I enjoy watching that. I've spent most of the time inside my little place the past few days convalescing and finishing up a large report for my contractual job. I skipped my Monday class but I plan to go to my Thursday class.

Kristof gives Oliver a hug.

############

Stephani's crazy cat Jasmine the Cat hissing and growling on the floor. I said to her, "Jasmine, did you know that except for Stephanie, NOBODY likes you??"

############

Awwww... Did mommy take away your raw hide bone before you could finish with it?? She'll give it back later.

This was the LWX (Sterling, Va.) radar around 9:50PM EST 11 Feb. 2009

This impressive line of thunderstorms approaching the Washington, D.C. / Baltimore area after a day of temps in the low 70s Fahrenheit totally wussed out as they reached here, and dropped only 0.06" at DCA, 0.08" at BWI, and 0.09" at IAD.

Yours Truly, Regulus, downstairs in the lower level rec room with the fish tanks at Phil and Stephanie's place, Feb. 11, 2009. I found the gurgling, whooshing, and sundry "white noise" sounds of the fish tank filters and aeration devices very soothing. I just wanted to hide down here.

###########

That's all for now. I need to go to bed. I'm still not fully recovered from the flu.
