Full of Stars ...

A snowy forest from some place I do not know where it is except that it's NOT in the Wash. D.C. area that I got off the internets.

Monday morning and still alive, the human over-populated and eco-degraded Earth still still turning on its axis, swinging about the Sun ...

... or rather attempting to move in a Newtonian straight line but instead caught in an Einsteinian space-time fold created by the Sun's powerful gravity and thus maintained in an eternal elliptical orbit.

I pretty much hate everything right now and I'm probably the most miserable person I know. I may delete this blog since there is no longer any point in keeping it.

I have an office holiday luncheon this afternoon and my water resource management final tonight. Maybe I'll be in a better mood later.

This about sums it all up...

I feel a strange need to post a comment. The Einsteinian image rocks ass.

Today we went to a big furniture store to get an armchair for my mom. It was a flashback to the socialist times. We found a chair she liked but were informed that there are no chairs of that type in stock and we can't buy the one on display. So, does any other branch have those chairs...perhaps? They checked . Yes there's one nearby that has three. Can you call to confirm? Sure. 15min go by.... they're trying to call the other store but no one answers. Fine, we're driving to the other store. There is one chair on display and another one in the back but broken. At this point Kristof is starting to lose his cool. Why were we informed that there were three items here if there are none? Dunno. Why is a chair on display if there are none we can buy? We can order one. OK we'd like to order. No they can't take an order at the moment because the computer system is down...

Several Polish jokes jump to mind...

Hope the final went ok.

Kristof -- You should've just thrown your shoes at them. That would've gotten some attention.

By the way, I'm scheduled to be in Florida visiting my dad from Jan. 7 to Jan. 14. But you should be back by Jan 4th, so I'll see you before that.

Fifi -- Yes, it's a pretty image. The test went OK.
