Correction 9:34AM 9/9/2016: I incorrectly noted in the caption and file name that this picture was taken on September 6th. It was in fact taken on September 5th (Labor Day). It is now corrected.
This entry is just to replace the previous one -- with its admittedly silly and badly Photoshopped image (the alterations done using Paint since I don't have Photoshop on this PC).
Not much to saythis morning other than I need to get to work. Tonight is a gym night. I intend to update the blog thereafter -- but it might not be until the usual 2AM hour. Next week, I am going to be quite busy hurriedly copyediting (and perhaps content editing) an MYPP for one of the technology offices, so that is going to affect blogging.
In the meantime, read this Jonathan Chait piece on the pathetic Matt Lauer interview of both Hillary Clinton and lunatic charlatan Donald Trump:
Matt Lauer's Pathetic Interview of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump Is the Scariest Thing I've Seen in This Campaign
Sub-headline: A frightening case study in journalistic failure.
None of this surprises me, and if we do end up with a cataclysmic President Trump and wall-to-wall kooky Republican-controlled government, events such as this will have played a contributing role. (Oh, and I'm sure Howie "Mistah" Kurtz, now of Fox News, will be duly impressed by Lauer's dreadful interview.)
Turning to the weather, it is going to be hot, humid, and shitty today with near record heat for early September but with a slight chance for a t-storm. Today, temps are forecasted to reach 96F or so and with dew points at or above 70F.
Below is the climate info from the current Sterling LWX discussion (with the symbols and abbreviations tweaked slightly):
Here are record daily high and record daily high minimum temperatures for the next several days.

I am happy to say that my apartment air conditioner is working well, the poor thing.
OK, that's all for now.
